Many organizations below will take adoptable kittens from feral and stray cats as well as friendly stray cats.  All are overwhelmed with the amount of animals they take in, care for and place so it is advisable to keep checking to see what the availability is.  A donation is encouraged as many of these are small independent organizations who rely on donations to sustain them.
