| Brookhaven feral cat feeding BAN |
The Town of Brookhaven is proposing a BAN on feeding feral cats on Town owned property. Stating that this is intended for "nature preserves and designated open spaces" the draft of the bill notes that it will be illegal to "deposit kitchen scraps and cat food on town land." This would make it appear that the ban would be extensive than just parks and beaches. There is more town property in Brookhaven that people know and cat feeders may be feeding on Town land and not know it.
